Nest Cam Outdoor 2016
As the first product shipped under the Google umbrella, Nest Cam outdoor is built upon the first Nest cam indoor architecture.
The components and camera module are housed in a white weatherproofed PC enclosure. A black curved polished PC lens completes the front of the rounded device providing the transparency required for the IR LEDs to operate during night time.
The metal injection molded mounting plate provides the necessary surface area to support the magnetic puck onto which the camera can nest and be adjusted to a desired angle.
A series of cable clips, AC adapter wall mounting plate and an angled AC plug, which accommodates crowded weatherproof boxes, were specifically designed to provide the most complete and simple user experience during the installation of the product.
